North Country Bible FellowshipPastor Nathanael (Nate) Towers serves as the Senior Pastor of North Country Bible Fellowship, where he is committed to faithfully preaching God's Word, shepherding the church, and equipping the saints for ministry. His passion for God's Word and the church was sparked during a transformative semester at LIFT (Camp-of-the-Woods, 2000) and the influence of the local churches that discipled him. This passion deepened through his studies-earning a B.S. in Religion from Liberty University (2003-2007) and an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis (2009-2013).

Nate's love for ministry and the outdoors was shaped by his time working at Deerfoot Lodge in the late 1990s and early 2000s, where he developed a heart for discipling young men and fostering Christian community. He later served at Grace Community Church in New Hampshire (2007-2009), gaining valuable pastoral experience before continuing his theological training.

Before being called to North Country in 2020, Nate served as the Young Adults Director at Christ the King Church in Denville, New Jersey (2014-2015), did some counseling at Market Street Mission (2015-2020), and served as both a chaplain and host at Fellowship Deaconry (2015-2020). These roles shaped his heart for discipleship, biblical counseling, and Christ-centered preaching. His ministry is driven by a love for Scripture and a commitment to discipleship, biblical faithfulness, and missions.

Nate and his wife, Leah, have three children and a Bernese Mountain Dog. He enjoys time outdoors, especially hiking in the Adirondacks, and finds relaxation in the simple joys of tending a woodstove and a couple shots of espresso.

Pastor Nate greatly appreciates the origins of our Congregationalist history, which is reflected in the Savoy Declaration of Faith and the Cambridge Platform.
